DAI is seeking a System Technology Advisor (STA) for the USAID-funded Guatemala Urban Municipal Governance program. This program will focus on improving governance and service delivery in municipalities most at-risk of violent crime to improve overall citizen trust in local governance institutions and the services they provide. The project will require considerable technical oversight and management to be successful.
Position Summary:
The STA will report to the Chief of Party and work closely with the Deputy Chief of Party. The STA shall reside in Guatemala for the duration of the project.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in systems technology or related field
Minimum of six years of relevant work experience in a related field
Demonstrated experience implementing open source platforms and software
Proven expertise at the utilization of open source technology for municipal urban development
Experience designing, managing, and overseeing public financial management systems implementation
Fluency in Spanish is required
Preferred: experience in User Experience Design (UX Design)
