Activity Background
The USAID Burma Responsible Investment and Trade Activity is a five-year (2020 – 2025) activity that will work with a broad range of international and domestic private sector firms and civil society actors to promote civilian ownership of the Myanmar economy by increasing the share held by responsible, accountable, and transparent firms. Through the Activity, USAID will increase trade and private sector investment. To attract and sustain investment and trade, the Activity is supporting firms operating in or entering the market in Myanmar to improve corporate governance, business transparency, and competitiveness.

Consultant Title: PowerPoint Editor
Project: USAID Responsible Trade and Investment Activity (the Activity)
Location: Remote
Reports to: Chief of Party or the designee
Duration: February 1, 2022, through February 1, 2023
Overview of the Position:
Over the course of the Activity’s Year 2, the Activity is developing multiple training programs that will be provided in MS PowerPoint. To ensure the PowerPoint slide decks are well-edited and incorporate best visual practices that enhance learning outcomes, the PowerPoint Editor will provide short-term assistance to provide editing, formatting, and publishing support for these deliverables.
Tasks:
- Correct contextual and/or formatting issues, ensuring a professional presentation.
- Review graphics for clarity and accuracy. Adjust graphics as necessary.
- Format report and deliverables as assigned to match the Branding and Marking guidelines.
- Assist in finalizing training materials presented in MS PowerPoint
- Assist in building capacity of Communications and Outreach Officer
- Assist and advise on requested communication needs as assigned and agreed.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in statistics, data analysis, economics, business, or relevant experience; Advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
- Prior experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations for the management consulting industry.
- Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality deliverables within the time allocated.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent personal organizational and time management skills**.**
